The Akshaya Patra Foundation has launched the online version of its Annual Report 2013-14.

 
The Akshaya Patra Foundation has launched the online version of its Annual Report 2013-14. The Annual Report which is narrated through the real stories of the 'Fab Five' superhero children exemplifies the transformative power of nutritious food and education, and the positive impact of the organisation's work in alleviating classroom hunger.
This graphically designed online Annual Report is presented through the stories of five superhero children - Badal, Vinayak, Ambika, Munna and Mamatha - and showcases how they and their classmates' enjoyment of school activities and studies have been greatly improved by the daily mid-day meal.
Some of the topics the online Annual Report features include an introduction to Akshaya Patra's work, an overview of the Foundation's mission, vision and organisational highlights, the achievements and recognition received during 2013-14, and the organisation's plans for the following year as well. The Annual Report showcases Akshaya Patra's financial report for the year 2013-14, and also gives the reader a deep understanding of the mechanism behind the Foundation by clearly defining the Governance Philosophy, Organisation Structure and more.
A big highlight of the online Annual Report is its engaging and informative video. Introduced by Akshaya Patra's Vice-Chairman Chanchalapathi Dasa, the video charmingly explains the Foundation's work through the animated figures of the five superheroes. Besides these features, the online Annual report also carries a PDF and a Flipbook version of the report.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that implements mid-day meals programme in over 10,000 Government and Government aided school across India. The kitchens of Akshaya Patra are spread over 23 locations across 10 States in India, reaching 1.4 million children with a hearty meal every school day. The organisation works in public-private partnership with the Government of India and several State governments in the country. The organisation aims to reach 5 million children by 2020 and is so working timeously to grow its reach by leaps and bounds.
