West Sussex, UK (January 24, 2016) - The Historia Illius Itineris performs as a practice and study group for the progressive teaching of material expanded by Andrew T. Austin which is known as his therapeutic model of ‘Metaphors of Movement’. The study comprises of 3 year curriculum. Following the model of initiatory orders, the material is organized into three degrees and in each degree there are ten meetings organized around a psycho-dramatic event. Each of these meetings will discover a study paper and provide practice sessions. The order embodies the principles of metaphors of movement into ritual and drama for self-exploration and personal development. The name, “Metaphors of Movement” was first endorsed by Steve Andreas in a blog post review of this high altitude training event.

Members of the order are organized into lodges (practice groups) and are required to provide some key pieces of work in order to qualify to the next degree. This effort is then shared in a central library which is known as “The Body of Knowledge.” The study papers come from “The Body of Knowledge” which represents the intense material of advanced methods and processes that are not taught on the usual Metaphors of Movement trainings. Further social and educational events will be organized as per interest. The three basic degrees of the study consists ‘The Orientation’, ‘The Journey’ and ‘The Construction’ consecutively. In May, 2015 the first three degree dramatic rituals have been written and the Historia Illius Itineris membership is now invited.

The Historia Illius Itineris is planned as an international initiatory organization. It is exclusive, secular and non-political and has no formal attachment with any other organization. Currently there are lodges in construction in Brighton, Harrogate, Tel Aviv and Bangalore with other lodges planned for Stockholm, Boulder, Tokyo, New Delhi, London and Utrecht. There is no age limitation on membership, but anybody under 18 requires parental consent.
