Belize City, Belize (September 24, 2017) – Coral reefs face a huge threat from intensified global weather, overfishing and pollution. Environmentalists are of the opinion that the demise of coral reefs can have an ill-effect on the environment. Brianna Bambic also learned this from her underwater exploration experience. So, she has posted a project on Kickstarter. Her intention is to generate funds to use Virtual Reality to boost awareness on Coral Reefs among people.

She has asked for donations from people through her project named the Reef Chronicles published in Kickstarter. She has promised that the funds generated from this posting will be used for documenting the present state of Lighthouse Roof Atoll in Belize. She wants to bring the same to the viewers.

This footage that she creates will be crucial for the production of a compelling VR narrative experience that will show how reefs have changed over time. Further, this Kickstarter project will help her achieve media outreach by deepening the awareness among the public and an understanding of the coral reef ecosystem.
