Portland, OR (July 06, 2016) – Elasti-Lace-Lock, a new, innovative approach to tying sneakers, keeping them tied, and preventing frustrating lace-dilemmas when walking, running, or completing errands, this week launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing for the official production and manufacturing.

Designed to be a simple, streamlined approach to keeping sneakers neatly tied, secure, and fashionably presentable for users of all ages, Elasti-Lace-Locks are about the size of a penny and keep the elastic lace in-place and highly-functioning.

“All users need to do is install the lace-locks with the lace by feeding the lace through the gadget, then “snapping” the lid closed to keep it all in place – it’s simple and easy,” said Eric Saligumba, Founder and Creator of the Elasti-Lace-Lock. “The Lace-Lock is designed to enable versatile moving and elastic stretching of the lace, all while staying in place and keeping the sneaker firmly tied.”

The locks’ laces are made with 8 durable individual solid rubber tubes (.8mm diameter) wrapped with polyester spandex knit. Each lace is 10mm wide, and is capable of stretching far and wide beyond its size (3:1 size to stretch). The lace is available in 12 color options, from various blues to different shades of grey and green. The locks themselves are made with durable Polypropylene, and the lid can be applied to any child five years of age or older.

“Everyone has experienced the frustration of needing to tie, and un-tie, our sneakers up to ten times in a single day,” said Saligumba. “The result is a laziness on our parts that involves us shoving in our foot until the sneaker’s structure is broken.
