Wainscott, NY - 5/12/2015 Free public screenings of “Reel Montauk,” the definitive documentary on Montauk, NY, will be held at East Hampton Library on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m. and at Bridgehampton Library on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Montauk, NY is one of the most popular resort destinations in the United States The area is a playground that is rich in history and legend. The host of the film is long-time resident Tom Bogdan of Montauk Adventures. Bogdan details the lives of two major Montauk visionaries: Carl Fisher and Herbert Sadkin. The film depicts how their unique visions led to the Montauk of today. Local filmmaker John Barrett wrote, directed and produced “Reel Montauk” and Steve Elliot was the cameraman and editor of the film.

Reel Montauk will also be available online at ITunes and Amazon in June 2015.
