Young Ukrainian alt-rock band ESTETY has released their debut EP, “See You in Hell” — the official soundtrack to the upcoming indie animated series of the same name. Bold, biting, and unapologetically raw, this three-track release marks a powerful entry into the world of Ukrainian alternative music.

Formed in 2023, ESTETY have quickly gained attention for their signature sound: piano-driven rock with emotional depth and sharp lyrical insight. They gained traction in 2024 after being featured at VidellkaFest, where they shared the stage with artists like Khrystyna Soloviy, Vivienne Mort, Pyrih i Batih, and Susidy Sterpliat.

Their breakout single “Ziv’yali Kvity” became a viral hit on TikTok and landed in Spotify’s key editorial playlists like “New Ukrainian Music” and bezodnya.music’s “Fresh Releases.” The track was also shortlisted for the JagerMusic Awards 2024 (YoungBlood category). ESTETY have since played sold-out shows at Kyiv venues such as Tepliy Lampovyi and VolumeClub.

Now, they present their first EP — “See You in Hell”, named after and created in collaboration with the upcoming Ukrainian animated series. The EP features three tracks: the title song “See You in Hell,” the confrontational “Prymary”(“Ghosts”), and the haunting closer “Velychezna Dirka” (“Huge Hole”).

“With this EP, we move away from our usual romantic-rock fusion and dive into more aggressive, provocative territory. For the first time, our music includes saxophone — we wanted to reflect the emotional chaos of the themes we tackle,” says the band.

🎧 What’s the EP About?

The record explores the raw contradictions of modern human nature. In the lead single, “See You in Hell,” the band satirically exposes the absurdity of eternal damnation for even the smallest sins — all while embracing the idea that, flawed as we are, hell might just be a shared human destination.

In “Prymary”, ESTETY hold nothing back: calling out fake morals, herd mentality, double standards, greed, and the loss of humanity. The lyrics are brutal, the energy explosive. The chorus delivers a direct challenge: “When will we finally be judged?” It’s a furious scream against hypocrisy and a mirror held up to a broken world.

The final track, “Velychezna Dirka” (“Huge Hole”), takes a darker, more introspective turn. With the line “Life is a filthy rag when you’ve got a huge hole instead of a heart,” the band suggests that losing empathy, kindness, and humanity is the fastest route to spiritual death — and straight to hell.

These songs were written as part of the creative universe of the non-commercial animated series, which gives them a cinematic and unfiltered edge. The band will debut the EP live on June 14th at Tepliy Lampovyi, a beloved venue in Kyiv’s alternative scene.
