increasingly, the world is becoming a technological place, where people are looking for the next boom. That’s how it happened with NFT when we least expected it. NFT was growing and gaining imaginable proportions. But while the technological world is developing, our real world is losing the battle.

People want to be part of something new, something exciting but what about our planet? Why nobody wants to be part of the reconstruction of planet earth?

What’s the point of having expensive NFT collections but at the same time watching our forests being destroyed, our human friends going to war with each other. The world is lost in its destructive convictions. the world got lost in its advance by technology. The human warmth is gone is what we have left are the advances of a hypocritical inhuman society lost in the technological world.

Every day we hear that global warming is real, and if we don’t do anything now, the next generations will get into serious problems as we are already seeing in our current generation.
Natural disasters, sea level rise are real signs of what is to come, are we so selfish as to not think about the next one.

With that in mind, I decided to enter this race we call NFT, but not to benefit as many artists are doing but to shed light on this mass destruction of the world we live in.
The Amazon Smoking Piranhas is an NFT collection designed to bring attention to the Amazon rainforest, the lungs of the world. Every day thousands of trees are cut down, illegal mining destroys the land which makes it difficult to rebuild the environment.

The idea behind the Smoking Piranhas collection is to bring light and attention to the lungs of the world “Amazon Forest” Piranhas is a fish native to Latin America and mainly to the Amazon basin. It is smoking the smoke of deforestation that happens daily in the Amazon forest.
The Amazon Smoking Piranhas consists of a rare collection of 10.000 NFT, where 50% of the amount raised will be donated to organizations that work with the preservation of the forest in the Amazon, each buyer will have a tree planted in his name.
We need to mix technological advances with the logic of preserving the environment.
The world needs technology but we also need our environment.
