Stunt doubles are responsible for some of the most spectacular movie scenes we've ever seen. Despite this, most stuntmen (and women) are almost unknown to the general public. They toiled hard, placing themselves in perilous situations to pull off stunts like falls and battle scenes. And all the while, the marquee actors get the credit and the spotlight. However, our favorite films would be less thrilling without professional stuntmen and women, and Hollywood's bank vaults would be less brimming with cash.
Some of Hollywood's best stunt performers and their most well-known roles are here.
Sir Eddie Kidd:
Eddie Kidd, a British stuntman, is so well-known in the industry that Queen Elizabeth II knighted him in 2012, and he now goes by the moniker "Sir Eddie Kidd." Eddie Kidd, a motorcycle expert, and jumper, hold multiple world records for the longest motorbike jump. In addition, Kidd is well known for mirroring actor Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights (1987) and Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye (1995).
MJ George:
Many stunt doubles cannot escape their actors' shadows; nevertheless, one of the few who succeeded did so. Mansour J. George made his way to the big screen by becoming an actor who got featured in a movie and gave a good performance in every role he acquired. He started as a stunt double for the legendary Will Smith in Men in Black II. MJ was also featured in various Amazon Prime and Netflix TV programs and short films. On social media (@whoismjgeorge), he keeps his admirers up to date on what's going on in his life. Many fans and critics praised and loved MJ's stunt double work, making him a notable figure in the entertainment industry's behind-the-scenes realm. MJ, who was hungry for success and always up for a challenge, did not stop there. Since then, he's appeared in numerous ads for well-known businesses such as Starbucks, Dr. Pepper, Chipotle, and many other notable names.

Hal Needham:
When the director presents you with a lifetime achievement medal and spends more than 20 minutes regaling the audience with your list of achievements, you know you're a legend. And that's precisely what happened to legendary stuntman Hal Needham in 2012 when Tarantino presented him with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' "Governors Award," which honors a person's lifetime achievement in the film industry. Hal Needham, a Korean War veteran, began his acting career in the 1950s as a stuntman on television westerns.
