Overview: Basant Beatons, a leading name in tile manufacturing, is renowned for its innovative products such as shot-blasted pavers, tiles, engineered blocks, kerbs, and precast elements. To meet increasing market demand, the company identified the need to expand its Harohalli plant, a key step toward enhancing production capacity and operational efficiency. However, a significant obstacle arose: a 66 kV power line ran through the property. This high-voltage line presented both logistical and safety challenges that had to be addressed before the expansion could proceed .
Location: Harohalli Industrial Area, Karnataka
Work Done by Apollo Power:
Conducted a thorough site assessment to map the exact routes and potential impact zones of the 66 kV power lines.
Developed detailed engineering designs and collaborated with KPTCL to implement power infrastructure modifications for the Harohalli plant expansion.
Engaged with KPTCL and obtained the necessary approvals.
Completed the entire re-routing with three narrow-based (NB) lattice towers accommodating 66 kV circuits.
Our Achievement:
Streamlined and minimized bureaucratic processes and government approvals for Basant Beatons.
Efficiently utilized space, saving approximately 1 acre of land for future expansion.
