Jennifer Davis Deckert is a musician and teacher who lives in Carlsbad, California. For over two decades, she played drums in the band Hydroplane with her sister, Laural, and brother-in-law, Johnny Corcoran.
After her sister's untimely passing on Christmas 2021, Jennifer became inspired to write about her beloved sister as an eternal soul born and reborn into many different forms. The author processed the unbearable grief of losing her sister and best friend by keeping Laural alive through her magical adventures.
The author hopes this story will uplift others in their time of loss.

About the Author
Jennifer grew up surrounded by music, inspired by her musician parents and close bond with her sister, Laural. Jennifer found her voice in writing from a young age, winning awards for her poetry. While she pursued a career as a rock drummer in the band Hydroplane with her sister, her true calling resurfaced after the tragic loss of her sister. Today, Jennifer channels her passion into writing, keeping her sister's memory alive through her words.
