The movie rights were sold to Gigantic Pictures two weeks before and with continued stellar reviews and word of mouth the crossover novels sales continue to mount. The gritty story of a Mexican boy with a dream to be a pitcher for his highschool team and an old World Series pitcher who coaches him conjures up The Natural and Bang the Drum Slowly.
