Bandung, June 11, 2025 – In an effort to improve emergency response readiness and basic first aid skills of its hotel staff, Aston Pasteur Hotel collaborated with Hermina Pasteur Hospital Bandung to hold a CPR & First Aid Training session. The event was attended by representatives from several hotels under the management of Archipelago International, including Aston Pasteur Bandung, Aston Inn Tasikmalaya, Neo Dipatiukur, Harper Purwakarta, Favehotel Cimanuk Garut, Favehotel Hyper Square Bandung, and Favehotel Braga Bandung.
The training was led by Dr. Miranda Alina Nugrahananti, who presented material on first aid, including basic techniques for handling medical emergencies such as respiratory arrest, severe injuries, and choking incidents. During the session, participants were also given the opportunity to engage in an interactive question-and-answer session, providing deeper understanding of various medical emergencies that may occur in the workplace.
The material was then practiced directly by Mr. Tito Aditya Resa, the head nurse of Hermina Pasteur Hospital, who demonstrated various emergency scenarios and the proper way to handle them. All participants actively practiced the material presented, making the training more beneficial and comprehensive.
Dr. Miranda paid special attention to the handling of choking victims, a common emergency situation that is often handled inappropriately. Through clear demonstrations and simulations, participants were guided through instructions until fully confident.
“We want our entire team to be prepared to handle emergency situations, both in the workplace and in daily life,” said Dwi Novita Lestari, Assistant HR & Training Manager.
As a token of appreciation, the organizing committee presented souvenirs to the participants. The event concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing the unity and commitment of all participants to continue improving service quality and workplace safety.
