The Thousand Oaks Arts (TOArts) Youth Leadership Academy is an eight-month program at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, open to high school and college students that are interested in pursuing one of the many careers that falls under the arts umbrella. With the goal of nurturing the development of well-rounded students and young adults, the program will allow students to explore the performing and visual arts while also learning about ‘behind the scenes’ careers such as arts administration, venue management, creative writing, and more.

Students will ultimately create a capstone community event that they will conceptualize, design, and execute as a cohort.

The Academy is valued at over $3,500, but thanks to the generosity of TOArts donors, it is available to students for only $150. There are also some additional scholarships available.
