Cliff House Salcombe, one of South Devon’s most beautiful events venues, was chosen by international company Samsung to host their recent gala dinner. 40 guests attended the prestigious event, dining in one of the events rooms to celebrate the journey of the Olympic torch in May. The venue looked stunning for the event, with formal seating arrangements accessorised with the organisers choice of fresh yellow and green flowers. Widescreen plasma TVs and a stage with Cliff House's own state-of-the-art microphone and PA system provided entertainment at the event.

Cliff House Salcombe is further got into the Olympic spirit during the opening and closing ceremonies on the 27th July and 12th August, respectively.
