Benjamin Ambrosio worked for over ten years in the New York City Police Department, patrolling areas of the Bronx and Brooklyn and working with his fellow officers to help keep their communities safe. Ambrosio has a unique understanding of the law and the criminal justice system in the United States from his academic training in the Criminal Justice system and through his certification in Police Sciences from the New York City Police Academy, from which he graduated in the top ten percent of his class in 2005 before joining the force. Today, Ambrosio is trying his hand at a completely new skill: cooking.

Benjamin Ambrosio is working on being a skilled amateur chef who can whip up good food when needed and help his family and his community. Ambrosio has long been interested in ways to help his friends and neighbors get what they need to be happy and healthy throughout his community. His penchant for food and sampling tastes from all over the world during his days patrolling Brooklyn and the Bronx led him to his new passion for cooking.

Benjamin Ambrosio took working with his community to protect and serve it very seriously as a police officer. He did whatever he could to help people above and beyond the strict purview of his role as a police officer. Ambrosio plans on helping his community by learning the skills of an amateur chef so that he can give back at food banks and other charitable establishments that feed the needy throughout New York City. Now that he is no longer a police officer, he feels that he still owes his community a new service, one that he has been studying and practicing in his own kitchen whenever possible.

Benjamin Ambrosio has found his new talents in the kitchen very useful in his home life and he wants to share this new skill with his community in the future. He feels that the best way to do that is to practice and continue to learn new ways of creating delicious food he can share with others. He is preparing for the next step in his career.
