Michigan, 29th June 2022 — Revival Research Institute is conducting a Preventive Alzheimer’s and Brain Health Screening Event at the Ann Arbor Art Fair 2022. This event is part of the TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 3 Research Study or a Preventive Alzheimer’s Clinical Research Study conducted by Revival Research Institute for an investigational drug that may be able to help those at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
About the Preventive Alzheimer’s and Brain Health Screening Event
The Preventive Alzheimer’s and Brain Health Screening is a community event that will take place in downtown Ann Arbor at the Art Fair on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of July 2022. Revival Research Institute is also excited to be one of the proud sponsors of this Midwest tradition. Revival Research will have 2 booths at the Ann Arbor Art Fair 2022 and will be conducting the screening event near the Hill Auditorium.
The Community Screening Event is a part of the TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 3 Clinical Research Study that studies the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug that may be able to help those at risk of developing symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. To pre-qualify for the Clinical Research Study, blood samples will be collected from those who are interested.
One of the most common reasons for the development of Alzheimer’s is the accumulation of Beta-amyloid and Tau proteins in the brain that can interrupt its functions. The blood samples collected will undergo diagnostic tests checking for the levels of these biomarkers and a few others.
To be able to participate in the Clinical Trial or the Screening event, individuals should:
Be 55 to 80 years of age
Have normal memory and thinking with reasonable mood patterns
