“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” – a grand celebration of Independence Day by Birla Academy. It is 75th year of Indian Independence and on occasion of our Independence Day, Birla Academy of Art & Culture.....

 
"Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" – a grand celebration of Independence Day by Birla Academy. It is 75th year of Indian Independence and on occasion of our Independence Day, Birla Academy of Art & Culture together with Film Division, Govt. of India presentthis Mahotsav. The event will take place on 19th August, 2022 on Friday at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of Birla Academy.

The event of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" will take place for 2 hours. In this programme, there will be screening of 5 documentary films produced by the Films Division of Govt. of India. It will be grand celebration and a thrilling experience for audience indeed!

The different films that will be an auspicious part of this Mahotsav are –

v Bengal, Glimpses of a Glorious Epoch by Samiran Dutta

v The Unknown Freedom Fighters by S. Krishnaswamy

v Through a Different Lens by S. Krishnaswamy

v Aisee Theen Narian by Uma Shankar

v India@75 by Mukesh Sharma

In Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav, audience will have a great opportunity to witness some spectacular works of some celebrated film-makers.Each film has its own duration and distinct flavor. The documentary films aresure to entertain everyone in their own unique way and the touch the heart of every individual.

About the Academy

Birla Academy of Art & Culture was set up in 1967with the prime motive of promoting the growth of Indian art and culture. The academy emphasized on performing and visual arts. Today, Birla Academy has become a popular centre of educational, artistic and cultural activities. Its museum has a unique characterand depicts the development of since 1st century B.C. The museum showcases the works of a number of celebrated modern Indian artists. Birla Academy also has specimens of contemporary western art.
