He was later employed as an auto underwriter with Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company. He worked with Wawanesa for 9 months and evaluated customer files to precisely categorize and adjust premiums appropriately. Blayne Feckley was born in Calgary, Ablerta, and raised in Swan Hills, Alberta, where he then moved to Edmonton for higher studies. His pets, 2 cats and 1 dog, are his best companions. He has completed his degree in Actuarial Science with Business Minor from the University of Alberta and has passed SOA examinations, including P, FM, MFE, FAP-IA, and FAP-FA. He is passionate about music and likes to play the guitar, the saxophone, and the trumpet. He also composes piano music for his own entertainment. Additionally, he has achieved his 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Blayne plays recreational slo-pitch, volleyball, and likes to play tennis and golf as well. He is an adventurous person who likes to mountain bike in his spare time. He has made great contributions to charity, donated two vehicles to the Kidney Car Foundation, and was involved in an autonomous research process to analyze the best practice of 13 Calgary area foundations.
