PLANO, TX – April 4, 2023 -- My Possibilities (MP), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to
relentlessly elevating how we serve adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is
gearing up for our annual Community Ball, presented by Berry Family Services. The gala brings together
residents, business owners, and community leaders for a night of fun and celebration. This year's theme is
HIP starry Night, a nod to the glowing spirit and vibrant nature of our Hugely Important People, the
HIPsters. "Berry Family Services is proud to partner with My Possibilities in hosting this year’s HIP starry
Night Community Ball. Our collaboration is vital in promoting independence, dignity, personal growth,
and inclusion in the community,” says Katie Beth Massengill, Community Services Manager with Berry
Family Services.
Community Ball will take place on May 6 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. and the
event begins at 6 p.m. with a red-carpet entrance for our Hugely Important People (HIPsters). Dance the
night away with live music provided by Manhattan Sound. Join emcees, Kevin Hageland and Cory
Mageors of 105.3 The Fan’s K&C Masterpiece, as attendees bid on unique items and experiences in a
silent auction and play a riveting game of Heads or Tails. New this year, enter for a chance to win a
mystery prize. All proceeds support MP’s annual programming for individuals with IDD and the initiatives
that serve this community.
