Chad Harp is proud to announce that he graduated Magna Cum Laud from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2012. In his political science program, Chad Harp worked hard to earn a GPA of 3.96 out of a total of 4.00.
Magna Cum Laude is a Latin term meaning: “with very great honors.” Chad Harp graduated near the top of his class at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and in the top tiers of the undergraduate political science program. He was able to achieve this high GPA even while working for the Republican National Committee during the election campaigns of Mitt Romney, as well as other Las Vegas candidates, like Joe Heck and Dean Heller.
Many students who also work have a hard time maintaining high GPAs. The workload can be difficult to manage but Chad Harp made a commitment before he began his studies to give them everything he had. It paid off.
Asked about how important his high GPA is, Chad Harp replied, “It was very important to me because I knew that the bachelor’s degree wouldn’t be the last step in my academic career. I was recently accepted to the MBA graduate program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and I do believe that my high GPA made the decision easy for the admissions department.”
