Hello world, My name is Cindy Caan and I wanted to tell you a real life story (a reason behind VaultSecure Pro App launch)

I am proud to announce that finally after 1 year of taking my idea from scratch to reality, we have launched the VaultSecure Pro App!

Almost a year ago, I caught my boyfriend of 3 years cheating on me. Needless to say I hastily ended the relationship.

However, my now ex-boyfriend wanted revenge for being dumped. He got access to all my personal information on my iPhone and deleted it all! Old pictures, videos of my family who were now miles away in South Africa, voice memos where I had dictated my thesis…everything. He even took my passwords and cleared my bank account! I was devastated. Not even that, he posted some intimate pics of us online. I was distraught!

Shortly following this incident, I decided that I wanted to have my data fully secure and only accessible by me. Similar to the way that you can lock away your personal data in a vault…

I tried looking for a solution everywhere, but I just couldn’t find one. So Vault secure Pro was born. I decided with a few close friends to develop an App to cater for my need. Not only can it keep all my photos,videos, notes, documents, ewallet, private passwords and voice notes secure. It also gives me that added security that no one can access my phone’s private data. Nowadays when you download apps you are asked to allow access to your photo library. Have you ever thought they can do what they like with your photos? I decided my app would keep my data safe and not readily available to any tom, dick or harry.

My idea slowly started developing with the help of my team. I Also wanted the files to be automatically backed up and synced to all my Apple© devices. We also added to the VaultSecurePro App, pin pad lock and finger print lock. Another cool feature I really wanted was a notification alert, if someone else tried to access my phone the app takes a picture to show you who it was….. The credit for this feature goes to my Ex boyfriend.

When you download the VaultSecurePro App on itunes. Be confident that your data is secure and if your iPhone gets lost or stolen, have the peace of mind that everything stored in the app would be accessible again through our secure cloud feature.

I also added a secure send feature to keep in touch with my family, the app allows me to encrypt any files I send to them. So I can safely send pictures of my life in the UK to my family in SA without it being compromised. They can even email me pictures back to my VaultSecure App email and they will be added securely to my vault. Can you believe it? I am so impressed!

Next time I’m in a relationship, I will stay cautious until I can completely trust again. So I added an extra little feature which allows me to lock my phone when using the app easily by using auto face down lock function. If someone walks in, I just place the phone face down and the App locks itself automatically. You can even disguise the App by changing the app icon to make it look like just any other App.

As for my ex boyfriend….I heard from a mutual friend that his iPhone was stolen. What are the odds eh?...what goes around comes around I suppose.
