Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was founded in 1964. The University is one of India's top Central Universities. The University was the first in the state to be accredited by the NAAC with a grade of A+. It provides a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate diploma, and doctorate level courses in Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Computer Application, and Mathematics.
Due to the second wave of Covid-19, the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) budget of nearly Rs 350 crore for fiscal 2021-22 has been stalled for the past three months.
DAVV University administers a Common Entrance Test (CET) as part of the Common Admission Procedure (CAP) for certain UG/PG levels in almost all basic and professional disciplines. In the Indore division, numerous other colleges are affiliated with the university. Currently, the university has 153 affiliated colleges that offer undergraduate and postgraduate education in a variety of basic and professional disciplines. The university's campus has 6000 students and affiliated colleges have a total of 120,000 students.
