Kapil Dev just like Virat Kohli will go shirtless if India wins World Cup 2019

World Cup Winning Captain said that his heart says India can win the World Cup but his head is saying that India needs to play good cricket to win.

 
ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is scheduled to be held from 30 May 2019 to 14 July 2019. It will be hosted by England and Wales. The schedule for the World Cup 2019 is already out with the most interesting clash of India vs Pakistan on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester.

Earlier in 2018, in an interview with India Today, Current Indian Team Captain Virat Kohli promised to take off his shirt and run on Oxford Street in England if India won the World Cup 2019.

When Virat Kohli was asked again about his promise in the presence of Sourav Ganguly, Kohli had repeated his promise. Sourav Ganguly’s iconic shirt waving act at Lord's when India won the NatWest Series final against England became very popular and is still in memories of every Indian cricket fan.

Recently at Agenda Aaj Tak 2018 in New Delhi, Kapil Dev promised to join Kohli. He said that he will also run shirtless if India wins the World Cup just like Kohli said that he will run shirtless if India wins. He further said that he can do anything for his country.

ICC Cricket World Cup 1983 was won by India National Cricket Team under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. When Kapil Dev was asked about who would win the World Cup 2019 in England, he told that his heart and head have the same name that is India.

World Cup Winning Captain said that his heart says India can win the World Cup but his head is saying that India needs to play good cricket to win.

When Sunil Gavaskar was asked the same question, he said that India in heartbeat. Gavaskar said that the World Cup is coming to India. He told that this team India has all the ingredients to win the World Cup.

When they both were asked about comparisons between their World Cup-winning teams and that of Dhoni. Sunil Gavaskar said that the 1983 team was more handsome than the World Cup-winning team of 2011.

Sunil Gavaskar is also excited to celebrate the golden jubilee of World Cup 1983 win. He said, "Fingers crossed, toes crossed that we will celebrate the golden jubilee of 1983 win,".
