Much awaited by the residents of the religious land of Junagadh, the life instillation ceremony was held at Trimandir by Pujyashree Deepakbhai Desai. The other highlights were the Self-realization ceremony and a short pilgrimage to the holy Girnar.

Junagadh, Gujarat, India: Built recently at the foot of the holy mount of Girnar in Junagadh by the Dada Bhagwan Foundation, the non-sectarian Trimandir seems to be the new spiritual destination of joy and peace for the residents of the divine land of Junagadh and its neighbouring areas. It was recently inaugurated on 9th January by Pujya Deepakbhai Desai, the current head of the Dada Bhagwan Foundation (DBF) and fondly known as Pujyashree.

Preceding the inauguration was the life instillation ceremony, which was also done by Pujyashree in the presence of many spiritual seekers. He performed the sanctification prayers for nearly 2.5 hours in the morning. This was then followed by Prakshal, Puja, and Aarti of several Gods and celestial deities.

The temple has the giant idols of three main Gods namely, Shree Simandhar Swami, Shree Krishna Bhagwan, and the Shivling of Shree Shiv Bhagwan. It also has the idols of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan who is the Gnani Purush and the Akram scientist of stepless path to liberation, a few Tirthankaras of the past and the first upcoming Tirthankara, and key celestial deities namely, Shree Amba Maa, Shree Khodiyaar Maa, Shree Parvati Maa, Shree Padmavati Maa, and Shree Saibaba.

This concept of a non-sectarian temple was a revolutionary initiative of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. According to an organizer, “Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan firmly believed that peace cannot be there in this world until the differences in religion exist. To remove these differences, He came up with this novel and unbiased idea of Trimandir.”

According to a local attendant, “I feel Trimandir is where religions unite. I forget the difference between a Shaivite and a Jain or Vaishnav when I worship all the Gods and deities with pure intent of the world’s salvation. I have visited it at Adalaj and now will visit here in Junagadh. Today, after life instillation ceremony, it seems that each idol graces me for this selfless intent, which I will never change.”

The overall event was for four days and was well adhered to the current COVID-19 guidelines. On the first day, a cultural show by the local kids showcasing their new skills based on spiritual songs was performed. This was followed by a 2-hour spiritual discourse in the question-answer form to gain practical keys to daily problems and for progressing on the path of liberation.

The second day was special, as it was the day of Gnan Vidhi, the 2-hour Self-realization ceremony to realize one’s real Self (Soul). Conducted without taking any fee, the ceremony attracted several new seekers from even the nearby districts. The third day was fully reserved for the life instillation ceremony.

On the last day, the divine doors of the Trimandir were opened with prayers and spiritual hymns for the public. It was also an exciting day for a few selected local volunteers and many celibates, as they got a chance to go for pilgrimage with Pujyashree on the holy Girnar mountain.

After reaching to the most revered Ambaji temple on one of the peaks in seven to eight minutes via ropeway, all of them took the divine blessings of Ambaji, Neminath Tirthankar Bhagwan, and Lord Dattatreya with selfless intent. With the utmost purity, humility, and devotion, Pujyashree prayed to Amba Maa and all other deities revered on the mountain for the ultimate liberation of each living being in this universe.

At the Ambaji temple, Pujyashree was honored with a holy red chunari, the only type of cloth used for dressing Goddess Amba. Finally, the entire group, who ascended, prayed for a long, healthy, and utmost pure life for Pujyashree.
