After winning many awards and most importantly viewers in the first season, the significantly applauded US independent writer and director, Joe Ciminera is now ready to release the season 2 of "Tales from the Dark". “Tales from the Dark” created by Joe Ciminera, is a television anthology series of unrelated stories containing drama, fantasy, psychological thriller, science fiction, suspense, and horror, often finishing up with a horrifying or unforeseen twist.

Joe Ciminera is the highly praised director who is responsible for the amazing independent movies like Purification, Acedia, 6 Minutes of Death and his newest release feature film "Venial", which is scheduled to release in 2015. The thing which makes Ciminera so popular with his films is that he sets them together with no script. This exceptional directing and writing style of Ciminera has won him praise in many winning film festivals and award shows across the nation. Ciminera has his own style but if compared with anyone it would be a mix between Rod Sterling and Alfred Hitcock. Ciminera is usually seen using most of the same actors for his different productions. Ciminera was caught at The American Film Market in California this year and was asked how he makes such great movies on a smallest budget. He replied that he do not give much thought to the film before he went for the production. Most of his creativity comes from the day of the shoot.
