One of the leading figures in cardiology’s global community, Dr. Daniel Jose Pineiro is a chair-elect of the ACC Assembly of International Governors and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires. He has participated in over 100 national and international gatherings as a panelist, coordinator, and lecturer.

Dr. Daniel Jose Pineiro has held leadership positions in a number of multi-national medical institutions as well. While serving as the President of the Inter-American Society of Cardiology, he made consistent efforts to expand the organization’s outreach and engage in global non-communicable disease efforts. During his term as the President, he participated in UN (United Nations) summits and joint programs with noted groups like The Pan American Health Organization.

Dr. Pineiro also worked with the ACC at the World Health Assembly for assuring passage of key global targets to fight cardiovascular diseases. For his border-crossing perspective, he received the 2014 International Service Award by ACC.

Dr. Daniel Jose Pineiro is one of the top Cardiologists in Argentina. He has completed over 30 courses on echocardiography, clinical cardiology arrhythmia and clinical cardiology worldwide. He served as the President of the Argentinean Society of Cardiology in 2006. He has also been rewarded at the 50th Anniversary Contest in 2009 in memory of Hayde de Luca. In 2014, he received International Service Award, American College of Cardiology. He has participated in around 100 National and International congresses and symposia as a director, panelist and senior lecturer.
