Roorkee: The three-day celebration of Dharohar 2024, the annual fest at Quantum University came to a colorful end with Punjabi singer Nikk's captivating performance on 6th April. The second night of Dharohar featured a Singing Competition and Fashion Fiesta that saw active participation from students. During Fashion Fiesta, students dressed up in various costumes to spread their charm. Along with this, various types of cultural and technical programs came to an end. For these consecutive three days, the students, & faculties, were completely immersed in color with enthusiasm and excitement. The Star Night turned the annual fest into a beautiful memory as Nikk's songs compelled the students to dance till late at night. The annual night was attended by more than 2000 students.
Dharohar 2024 was celebrated from April 4th with full energy and enthusiasm, starting with inter and intra-sports events and ending with cultural and tech events. Apart from this, the participants also displayed their dance skills and vocals in the inter-university dance and music competitions. The Ad Mad Show was also the center of attraction on the second day i.e. 5th of April where all participants presented their creative skills and won accolades. Various programs were organized during the event, including Water Rocket, Nutrition Fiesta, Design Challenge, Tekken 8, Poster Making Competition, Chakra - A Business Quiz, Crack a Code, and Singing. The last day saw more events such as Mike Master Showdown, Art Exhibition, Dance Battle, Free Fire, One Act Play, and Monologue.
The award ceremony saw students from various fields who won under different categories from the Rangoli competition to Code Cracker. Escape the Trap competition was won by the team including Mannat Singh, Hrithik Gupta and Ashutosh Yadav. Code Cracker was won by Adarsh Chaudhary whereas Structural Design was bagged by Pankaj Kuamr Das, and Krishna Prasad Sah and all the other winners were honored by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Vivek Kumar, Quantum University.
The Punjabi sensational singer Nikk known for his hit song 'Badaami Rang' set the stage on fire with his melodious tunes and captivating performance. The students were mesmerized and danced to the tunes of the songs, and the entire university campus was immersed in joy and delight. Chancellor Mr. Ajay Goel, Vice Chairman Mr. Shobhit Goyal, Vice Chancellor Prof. Vivek Kumar, Registrar Mr. Amit Dixit, Director of Quantum School of Business Dr. Manish Srivastava, Director of Quantum School of Technology Dr. Manish Sharma attended the celebrations. As the night wore on, the teachers were also seen dancing with a different level of enthusiasm.
The enthusiasm of the students to win the competition and the cultural programs was clearly visible. From the sports competition - Udaan to Edge, Ojas, and Glitz, students from every department participated enthusiastically in all the competitions and events. In this way, the three-day annual festival of Dharohar 2024 came to a colorful end.
