London, United Kingdom (16th April, 2012) – Winkworth, the largest single branded estate agency in London, have raised a company-record total of £6,821.75 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients and their families through an innovative nursing service and its nine hospices. The charity is committed to carrying out the research necessary to deliver the best possible care to patients across the UK.

Winkworth Battersea has supported Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal for many years, and the team were keen to continue their support for the charity in 2012. As part of this year’s efforts,

Winkworth Battersea rounded up a team of 50 volunteers from all the Winkworth offices and spent twelve hours collecting donations in Waterloo station.

A spokesperson for Winkworth commented: “We have always found this to be a rewarding and significant activity, and many of our staff were left humbled when they spoke to those moving through the station about their experiences of Marie Curie and how this incredible organisation has touched their own lives.
