A valve is a product that is commonly seen to be used in industries. However, we often fail to recognize the presence of a valve or the benefit its application is bringing to us because a lot of us are not even familiar with the purpose that these valves are serving to know about what these valves are and how to do a bigger purpose, we first need to know about what these valves are and how are they helpful.

A valve is an electro-mechanical device that I designed to work over-regulation and control while directing the flow of the liquid by opening and closing or sometimes partially obstructing the flow of fluids. Although it might sound a bit complicated at first, explaining it in simpler words, we get to see that a valve is a mechanical device that is used to control the amount of flow and pressure of the liquids that are within a system or a process; thus, it is mainly used to manage the flow and the stress. There are a lot of industrial manufacturers available all around the globe, all producing various types of industrial valves. In the same way, China industrial valve manufacturers are also making multiple valves based on unique features and applications. Among the different types of valves and their applications, the most common ones are in the form of;

Ball Valves:
These are the most commonly found seen to be found valves that are there in the flowing systems, as signified by their name; these are the type of products that make use of a ball to control and navigate the flow of the gases in the pipeline; they are also beneficial in controlling the pressure. These are the types of valves that are ideal in the food and oil processing industry. They are also used in ships for fire-safe protection services in the chlorine manufacturing sector.

Advantages:
They are easy to operate and regulate the flow in a short period.
They have a compact and low-maintenance design that does not require any lubrication.
They offer leak-proof services and flexibility of design.

Butterfly Valves:
These are the type of valves that are designed in a way that they not only regulate the flow but also control capability as well. In these valves, the obturator rotates about an axis at the right angle to the flow direction. These valves have a thin profile between the flanges, making them lightweight and creating a small install footprint. They are seen to be used in various applications in the form of water supply, water treatment, fire protection, gas supply, chemical, and oil industry.
They are widely seen to be used in the case of wastewater plants, power plants, and in the case of process plants to shut off the regulating and isolating services, especially in the case of pipelines with large diameters and in case of industries like pharmaceutical, chemical, and food processing.

Advantages:
They are configured to operate electronically, manually, and pneumatically as well.
They are highly accurate, which is very helpful in various industrial applications.
They can be easily installed or removed without the dislocation of the pipe system.

Gate Valves:
These valves are commonly used in the broader sections of the pipes to control the flow of liquids. For this purpose, they can be designed with rising and non-rising stems, solid wedges, flexible wedges, or slit wedges. These gate valves are further divided into two main types:

a) Parallel Valve
b) Wedge-Shaped Valve

These gate valves are the most common ones used in industries like textile, power generation, refineries, petrochemical plants, food plants, chemical industries, and paper factories. It is seen to be used in applications where materials are transported to flow in a straight line without a backlog. They are especially advantageous when they are used to halt the flow of liquids.

Advantages:
In the case of the use of gate valves, there is a shallow friction loss.
They provide laminar flow as the pressure loss is minimum.
They are ideal products that could be used in high temperatures and high pressures.
