West Chester, Ohio (May 29, 2014) - Broadway Bound Dance Company, under the direction of owner, Angela Knott, is looking forward to offering area elementary kids singing camps and dance camps this summer during the weeks of July 14th-18th and the 21st-25th, as an alternative to typical summer camp offerings.

Dance camp is a fun, physical, and social activity that engages children’s bodies and minds and helps build friendships and motivate regular healthy movement.

Knott is planning on introducing children in the pre-k to kindergarten age group to jazz, ballet, tap and acrobatics through use of games and organized activities in the “Dance Your Feet Off! For Minis” camp half days July 14-18 and July 21-25.

For older elementary-aged children interested in dancing and singing camps, Broadway Bound offers “Get your DANCE On!” camp evenings in July. This unique experience gives children more instruction on technique in various popular dance forms, including hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap and acrobatics.

Since 2010, Broadway Bound, “Where your dreams come true on the corner of Broadway and 42nd St.” has been a fixture in area arts education. Owner Angela Knott has been teaching dance for 18 years, is a member of the Ohio Chapter of Dance Masters of America, and has won regional and national awards for dance.
