Germany, April 14, 2023 - Waste-to-Resources 2023, the 10th International Symposium and exhibition on Circular Economy, mechanical biological treatment (MBT), material recovery facilities (MRF) and Recycling, is scheduled to take place from June 5th to 7th, 2023, in Tunisia. This event will be held outside of Germany, at the gateway to the growing African market. The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) supports this event, which aims to discuss key aspects of waste management and its role as an important measure for climate protection.

The symposium will bring together waste management professionals, industry experts, and policymakers to share ideas and insights into sustainable waste management practices. The event will cover various topics, including financing and economic aspects of waste management, concepts and legal drivers for circular economy, capacity building, waste collection, material and fuel recycling of waste, composting methods, operation, and results, as well as sustainable waste management in developing countries.

Waste-to-Resources 2023 will feature a three-part workshop, "The Future of Circular Economy," which will discuss what to expect from the development in the waste management sector including legal and political drivers, technological aspects, and closing the loop. The event will also have panel discussions focusing on Africa's waste sector and sustainable waste management in developing countries.

This event is a must-attend for waste management professionals, industry experts, and policymakers. On-site participants can attend the event in person, and online participants can join the event virtually. The conference language will be English with French simultaneous translation available for on-site participants only.
