In Africa, about 90% of the population has limited access to insurance services or is not well informed about the options they might have. COLIBRI is here to change that and to contribute to a better insurance technology market in Africa.

Colibri offers a digital solution, a digital ecosystem that will enable people to access manifold of available insurance coverage offers a solution that promotes insurance inclusion, combat underinsurance, and restores confidence in the industry and its stakeholders. The service includes a collaborative approach that enables users to significantly take part in the process of distribution.

The startup has joined FasterCapital’s Raise Capital program. Colibri is based in Cameroon and is founded by Nkoa Mvondo Serge Bertrand. FasterCapital will work with the team on reviewing and improving the pitching materials to make sure the startups raise capital more easily in the future.
