Pickmeup Technologies Inc is a new startup that has joined our Tech Cofounder program. It was founded in Nigeria by Michael Okaredje.
Pickmeup works on merging everyday personal needs into an easy-to-use digital platform for under-developed emerging markets, starting with mobility. Pickmeup is raising $360K with the goal of providing a safe and affordable transport tool and to be much more than a rideshare platform.

Michael Okaredje, founder of PickMeUp says, "I saw the lack of ride-hailing services in my city and the large un-serviced market in Nigeria and Africa at large. So I decided to develop a product based on my extensive knowledge of the terrain and the consumers."

Mr. Hesham Zreik, CEO at FasterCapital, says, "the targeted market by PickMeUp is definitely lacking and the market gap needs to be filled. FasterCapital will be glad to work with the team on supplying the African market with the services it needs."
