Louisville, Kentucky - Presidential candidate Jasmine Sherman announced today that they will embark on a nationwide tour to spread their message of hope and change, feed communities in need, and meet the people they hope to serve as president. The tour will kick off on June 23, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky.
During the tour, Sherman and their team will visit communities across the country, with a focus on those that have been historically underserved or marginalized. The campaign will partner with local organizations and businesses to provide food and other resources to those in need, while also engaging with community members to discuss their needs and concerns.
"I'm excited to hit the road and meet the people of this great country," said Sherman. "I believe that every American deserves access to healthy food, and I'm committed to doing my part to make that a reality. But we can't stop there. We need to listen to the people, understand their struggles, and work together to create a better future for all of us."
Sherman, a community organizer, has made housing, food insecurity, and community empowerment central themes of their campaign. Sherman has proposed a range of policies to address food insecurity, including expanding access to healthy food, supporting local farmers and food producers, and increasing funding for nutrition programs.
The tour will also provide Sherman with an opportunity to engage directly with voters and build momentum for their campaign. "I believe that when we come together, we can accomplish anything," said Sherman. "This tour is about building relationships, fostering community, and creating a movement for change."
The tour will include stops in major cities and small towns throughout the country, with additional details to be announced in the coming weeks.
