BWC Management & Consulting have announced plans to broaden its product range and services in a bid to adapt the company dynamics to changing economic climates.

With over a decade of advising investors on the investment potential of the fine wine market, BWC Management & Consulting have announced plans to broaden its product range and services in a bid to adapt the company dynamics to changing economic climates.

It must not be forgotten that at the time of the inception of BWC Management & Consulting, little was known about the real potential of investment grade wines and between 2000 and 2008 many small independent wine advisories were formed, but few remain today. BWC Management & Consulting have stood the test of time and have helped to pioneer and bring this market to the forefront of investor awareness.

“We have had a lot of ups and a few downs over the years but such is the way of the markets. In a reasonably short business life as independent fine wine investment advisors, we have become known for our strong views; sometimes inspired, sometimes contrarian and of course, sometimes profitable! But always well researched and always well intentioned. These strong views have enabled us over the last decade to guide our clients to building profitable portfolios - a decade in which many investors in many markets have lost money,” says Denise Williams, Head of Private client sales for the last 10 years.

BWC Management & Consulting recently announced that after 10 years of trading in solely Bordeaux classified growths, it had introduced other wine growing regions to its product range. Due to the client based being predominantly investors, the company was quick to reassure its clients that the wines introduced would meet the usualinvestment criteria; blue chip premier wines with proven track records of growth, renowned reputations and good secondary market demand. Regions such as Burgundy and Tuscany (Super Tuscans) will now be available to its clients.
BWC Management & Consulting believes this as a natural progression of a successful and expanding business as clients will now have access to a one-stop-shop for trading the world’s finest wines, ensuring all elements are optimised for diversification. BWC were adamant that the solid core of the business that has been established and built over the last decade will not change.
