Current Oregon State Representative Ricki Ruiz endorses Annessa Hartman for election to the Oregon House of Representatives, District 40, Monday.

"Annessa Hartman has been a passionate advocate for all of Oregon’s families,” said Ruiz. “I'm excited to support Annessa for the Oregon House because I know she will be a strong champion for our community in Salem."

Annessa Hartman announced her candidacy mid October to a whirlwind of endorsements by local leaders, congressional delegates, and business partners. A coalition that is poised to vault Hartman to the Oregon House in November 2022 to represent the cities of Gladstone and Oregon City, as well as parts of Oatfield, Johnson City, Jennings Lodge, Clackamas, Oak Grove, and Canemah, Oregon.

“I am ecstatic for the endorsement and have the opportunity to protect Oregon families alongside Representative Ruiz next year,” Hartman said, “[Ruiz’s] agenda aligns with my campaign priorities of propelling Oregon’s families to new heights of prosperity.”

State Rep. Ricki Ruiz represents District 50 which covers the Indigineous lands of the Chinook and Cowlitz that make up Gresham & East Portland.
