NEW YORK CITY - April 1, 2016 - The wait is over! gitr will be publicly available on the Google Play Store on April, 2016. gitr will be available on all Apple devices via direct download at www.gitr.com. We are in-process of working with Apple to get our apps on the Apple App Store. The delay relates to our birthday requirement during registration. gitr allows users to share drinks with family, friends and locals. Due to our age restrictive content - alcohol, we require users to enter their birthdays in order to create an account. This is gitr’s due diligence towards preventing underage drinking. Apple is asking us to remove the birthday requirement; however, we disagree because we do not want to draw under-aged users to our venues. Despite this road bump, gitr will still be available on all iOS & Android devices. Direct download links and installation instructions are available on our website.
