Have you been to the most sought-after place in Diablo 3 RoS Patch 2.1? The Vault of Greed's Domain is literally Christmas in Sanctuary (or not), with gold, goblins and multiple legendary items. But the most sought-after item in Greed's Vault is the Legendary Gem, the Boon of the Hoarder.

What does this gem do?

Basically, Boon of the Hoarder lets you farm 1-2m gold every 5 minutes. How? Here's the tooltip for this Legendary Gem:

"Rumors speak of a greedy Baroness who sends forth minions to collect treasure, equipped with gems to aid in gathering ever more. Boon ofthe Hoarder is said to be one of these precious gems." -Abd al-Hazir


6 million or more every Nephalem Rift

This means that roughly 1 in 4 kills gets a sure gold explosion. Mobs can give DPS toons like the Demon Hunter and the Witch Doctor as much as 500,000 gold if the screen is filled with enemies thanks to illusion clones and hordes.

Drop it

If you're lucky enough to get into Greed's Realm or The Vault more than once, make sure you drop the Boon of the Hoarder on the ground before you kill her so you can get another boon of the hoarder. This way, you can give your alts the gem or create a gold farming character that always has the gem equipped.

Bounty-only Goblin Portals

There isn't any way to raise the proc on how often the Goblins might open the portal, as far as players currently know. What's for sure is that Greater Rifts don't have Treasure Goblins and Nephalem Rift Goblins don't open portals at all, according to a Blizzard developer post on the forums. The portals only spawn on goblins in Adventure mode so the best route would be to go through bounties or when you're hunting keys.

Ultimate Evil Edition love?

Sadly, only the PC version has this feature since this got implemented with Diablo 3 RoS Patch 2.1. When will the Ultimate Evil Edition get their Patch 2.1? Blizzard said "Soon." in their podcasts but we're not holding our breaths. We don't even know if the Ultimate Evil Edition will get the same features as the PC Diablo 3 RoS Patch 2.1.
