Guardian Access & Door Hardware Introduces New DC Operators
Guardian Access & Door Hardware is excited to introduce the models 7160V and 7280V. These are the first DC motors in a line of garage door operators that will use the beam plug-in Wi-Fi controller and motion activated courtesy lighting.
Not only do these operators feature a smooth and quiet DC motor, optional belt or chain drive, motion activated lighting, and optional backup battery, but they also are equipped to pair with a beam Smart Controller. Dealers will only pay for Wi-Fi when they need it.
The beam Smart Controller can be plugged into a port on the control center of both operators before, during, or after installation. Once connected, homeowners can download the beamHome app and program their phone to control their door from anywhere, at any time.
Not having to paying for the Smart feature up front leads to lower inventory carrying costs, the ability to satisfy a customer’s real needs in real-time, and the option to be more competitive when quoting new installations.
With the beamHome app, receive real-time alerts and monitor door activity from your smart device. Enable auto-close and set door open reminders, all managed by unlimited users. The V3 is Alexa/Amazon skills compatible and offers free IFTTT integration at NO additional subscription cost.
The V3 meets the UL325 standard, is FCC approved, and is only compatible with Guardian made garage door openers with the beam Smart Port (V or V3 model suffix designation).
