Author Nancy Hungerford to donate a portion of the sales to the Wounded Warrior Project

Holiday sales have already started doing the rounds here in the US with people looking to score sweet deals on meaningful Christmas presents for family and friends.

Like the year before, book promotions have been the focal point during this year's holiday sales; this time, due to something special for WWII buffs, veterans, and those of the greatest generation. The well-received military memoir Well Done: A WWII Memoir from Childhood Dreams to Naval Aviator by Nancy Hungerford is available on all online platforms at a holiday discount.

While announcing on social media, a source close to Hungerford stated, “This holiday, Nancy would like to honor all war veterans, present and past, by putting up her war memoir for the holiday sales. If you’re close to a special veteran or know someone who enjoys reading authentic accounts of the Second World War from an autobiographical perspective, this book would make the perfect holiday gift for them.”

Although Hungerford has previously ghostwritten two books, Well Done is the first book with her name on the cover. The war memoir is inspired by the journal entries of her husband Robert Hungerford: a naval fighter aviator during World War II.

Hungerford’s attempt at combining comprehensive research with her husband’s account of war has earned her several positive reviews. The prose has reportedly appealed to all age groups due to its no holds barred approach to describing a particularly violent time in history.

The 75-chapter memoir is currently available on a holiday discount in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover formats on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google, Apple, and Kobo. Hungerford will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project: an organization helping service members and veterans assimilate to life after active duty.

A book blurb, preview, and reviews are available for perusal on the author’s website given below.
