The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has endorsed HireMee, an edtech platform, as an assessment agency for emerging technologies. This accreditation enables HireMee to evaluate candidates based on National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned qualifications. With this recognition, HireMee can assess candidates completing programs offered by any NCVET-recognized awarding body and NSQF-aligned qualifications under government-funded schemes.

Venkatraman Umakanth, Senior VP and Head of HireMee highlighted the importance of continuous training in emerging technologies for the 5 million individuals fueling the Indian IT-ITES industry. As an NCVET-accredited assessment agency, HireMee is poised to meet the industry's assessment requirements.

The recognition follows a rigorous evaluation process of HireMee's capabilities in providing AI-driven assessments across various IT and non-IT domains. The platform, widely utilized by numerous corporates in India, the Middle East, and the US for talent acquisition and management, has conducted nearly 3 million assessments. HireMee has collaborated with approximately 7,000 colleges accredited by AICTE, the National Career Service of the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, as well as various government initiatives such as Naan Mudhalvan and the Digital Economy Mission.

Additionally, over 2,000 companies have engaged with the platform. HireMee has facilitated over 690,000 students undergoing no-cost assessments, resulting in over 260,000 students receiving interview opportunities with various companies.
