The third T20I between India and New Zealand remained trending on Twitter for a long time. The thrilling end forced everyone to talk about it. Virender Sehwag is no exception. He as always came with something that won everyone’s heart.

The heroics

The series decider saw two siders managing to reach 179 and the game saw the first ever Super Over for the Indian cricket team in limited-overs. Everyone who was watching live cricket had Goosebumps. The game was taken to Super Over by Mohammed Shami. He removed Kane Williamson (95), kept Tim Siefert quiet and then dismissed Ross Taylor on the final ball of the 50th over.

Rohit Sharma was already in great form and hit 65 runs during the match. Once New Zealand posted 17 runs in Super Over, Rohit Sharma was sent along with KL Rahul to chase it down. Finally, Rohit hit two consecutive maximum to win the series for India.

The social media went crazy during the encounter. As always, the fans started speculating what would happen next and started praising the cricketers after every move. Virender Sehwag could not resist from sharing excitement as well. He tweeted saying, "Aisa lagta hai apunich Bhagwan hai! So fit for #RohitSharma the way he has made impossible tasks possible. But defending 2 runs of 4 balls was an unbelievable effort from Shami. Yaadgaar hai yeh jeet #NZvIND."

Sehwag’s tweet took no time to go viral and attracted a number of audiences. Sehwag is already known for his social media activities and ever misses a chance to share his thoughts, experience, memories, and feelings on social media. Especially if it is India’s match Sehwag is one of those regular cricketers who will share his opinions on India’s performance. His tweets are never that serious too and hence he easily attracts readers. Even this time he took a reference from the popular web series Sacred Games to describe the heroics of Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami.
