Ingrid’s “African Cheetahs, Rock Pythons, and Mushrooms” collection showcases over 10 meticulously crafted patterns, a “wild animal” inspired greeting card collection, and several modern art prints, and celebrates the mesmerizing beauty of the cheetah and rock python, and the delicate charm of the rooibos plant, all of which are emblematic of southern Africa’s untamed landscapes. Further incorporated are motifs like monstera and grand bird of paradise leaves, white daisies, and the giant termitomyces titanicus mushroom – the largest edible mushroom in the world and it grows in Africa.

She designed this collection for the commercial market, with an eye for home goods and stationery. With wild cats and daisies experiencing a resurgence in popularity, and tropical themes remaining perpetually stylish, this collection meets current consumer demand.

About the Artist: Ingrid Poole is an Swedish-American artist and videographer, calling the picturesque city of Västerås, Sweden, her creative haven. Her multicultural background – born in Puerto Rico and raised in the vibrant landscapes of Florida, USA – infuses her work with a spectrum of vivid hues and imagination. Ingrid’s art commonly features youthful depictions, centering on the motifs of plants, wildlife, and people, infused with hand-made textures and detailed linework.
