For more than two millennia, Christians have been inspired by the words spoken by Jesus. In the United States alone, there are more than 200 million Christians. Around the globe, that number is over 2 billion. Today, Christians the world over are finding inspiration from age-old words in the relatively new and explosively popular medium of podcasts.

Many are surprised to learn that Bible-based podcasts hold the top spots on Apple and other podcast outlets. A new podcast, Jesus Speaks, Love and Forgiveness, is a dramatic performance of the very words spoken by Jesus, according to the Gospels. This podcast highlights Jesus’ teachings on love and forgiveness.

Luis Gonzalez, the creator of the Jesus Speaks podcast states that Jesus’ message for the world is as relevant today as it ever was. “We all seek meaning in our lives. We need to view things through the lens of timeless truths that put the world around us into proper perspective. For millions and billions of Christians, that lens, that perspective, comes from listening to the teachings of Jesus on love and forgiveness,” said Gonzalez, a New Jersey-based educator and author.

Jesus, known as the Good Shepherd, said, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me.” Jesus Speaks is an invitation to hear His voice and to follow Him.
