J.K. Mining Corporation announces re-start of mining activities in Ecuador

LIMA - J.K. Mining Corporation today announced that it will re-start mining activities at the Fruta del Norte project in Ecuador in the first week of May.

 
J.K. Mining Corporation have put together a plan for sanitary measures in compliance with Ecuadorian Government regulations and all prevention measures will be taken at all mining sites.

J.K. Mining Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gregory Kensington commented on the re-start of the mines saying “This is a positive move forward concerning the Corona virus which has hit the world very hard. We have put stringent rules in place and they must be followed by all employees when they gradually come back to work and we want all sanitary recommendations to be respected.”

“The re-start of J.K. Mining Corporation’s operations at the Fruta del Norte project site will enable us to get the ball moving again after a month of inactivity. Due to the COVID-19, the price of gold has increased in recent weeks and we are very eager to get going again,” added Gregory Kensington, Chief Executive Officer of J.K. Mining Corporation.
