5th December 2011 - If you own something these days, you would want it to be tip-toe and completely magnificent and people are ready to do anything for the cause.
For any individual, having a house of their own is one of the biggest dreams as well as one of the major accomplishments in life.
And if you own something huge as such, you would want all of the large and small aspects pertaining to it, to be taken care of.
One important component of each and every one’s house is doors and talking about doors, Louvered Doors are the ones in trend today.
The days are gone, where doors were just doors. The portals through which you could enter a house or a room. As time passed, new and new designs were developed because people wanted something different and today, we are surrounded by lot many different varieties and styles.
The main factor for such change has been the development of architecture. People have now become aware of how they can decorate even small things at your office or home and create something beautiful out of nothing.
The name of these special types of doors has been derived from the louvers that are added to these doors. What happens is that from the normal structure of the doors, the center piece is cut out and small, small slits are introduced in the place of it. These panels may be tilted forward or backward, depending upon the direction of light, wind and other factors.
One major reason of using these doors is that they give you good circulation and visibility.
These doors are available in panel types, like 2 or 4 paneled doors apart from the normal ones. Also due to its increasing popularity, they are now also being used in the ventilation shafts and even windows.
The reason still being the same that they give better air circulation and light acceptance. One big issue that was aroused regarding these doors were that they could compromise the privacy of the people, but the fact is that the tilted panels itself neutralized the fact.
Louvered Doors are normally used for bathroom doors, or doors of cupboards, wardrobe section etc. They are either build from plastic or wood, depending upon the requirement of the customer.
