Jose Poulose is an experienced medical professional who has been helping poor people in India and Tanzania. In 2004, he traveled to Tanzania, East Africa as part of a Church Mission team where he witnessed a miserable state of healthcare in Tanzania. He helped the poor people by raising $10,000 with the help of his friends which was later used to set up a clinic at Morogoro, Tanzania.

Later, this clinic has been grown as a successful clinic which presently serves hundreds of patients where infant and maternal mortality rate is very high. He is interested in establishing more clinics like this in needy areas helping poor people. Moreover, during his years of medical practice, he did not charge a fee for the uninsured and poor and also did echo/stress test for free on needy people.

In his career span, Dr Jose Poulose has worked as a Medical House Officer, Emergency Medicine, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Thereafter, he worked as a Chief Resident, Internal Medicine in Winthrop University Hospital. He has worked in a Cardiology Solo Private Practice, Williston Park, New York and a Senior Medical Consultant, Bioscience Clinical Laboratory, Port Washington, NY.
