Martin has been releasing his new Jane and the Dragon novel, Dragonblade for free with new chapters posted online each week. As the number of active fans is growing with the first fresh Jane and the Dragon content being published since the show was cancelled in 2006 demand for a Q&A quickly grew.

The team at Pūkeko Pictures prepared a Q&A like no other – creating Jane’s world inside a metaverse environment in Roblox. The event took place live on 22nd August at 8:30am with fans tuning in from across the globe.

During the Q&A Martin was asked about the choice of platform, he replied saying that Roblox was a platform that Pūkeko could learn with and that “My personal dream is for us to build an incredibly realistic version of [Jane’s world], an online contained universe that will be very safe”

This marked their first event as the team at Pūkeko prepare for a series of live events over the coming months as they continue to create more of Jane’s world for fans to enjoy.
