Among the plethora of religious reads about the Christian faith, author Stephen Sturlaugson presents a read woven with wisdom, authenticity, and an enlightening commentary set to change the lives of many.
Jesus interpreted parables to help people better understand the intricacies of God's wisdom. In Matthew 9:38, He refers to God as the "Lord of the Harvest." Stephen Sturlaugson's book revolves around how God is the Farmer of Humankind. He runs His kingdom as farmers nurture their farms. The Lord is the original farmer; humans imitate him through creation, providence, tradition, and personal experience.
God relates life's journey with the acts of sowing, plowing, sifting, and the various farming processes to the inevitable Harvest that awaits, also known as the end of time.
The book is the perfect companion for all those who wish to live a life in Christ. It is a read that is not only impactful but important considering the current state of society as a whole. Sturlaugson's work preaches repentance and the fear of God, instilling a message of hope to start over.
Stephen's chief goal with the book is to glorify the Lord and enjoy Him forever. He wants the readers to know that we are God's crops, and God treats us all the same. Furthermore, Stephen aims to encourage farmers, letting them know that God acknowledges their work and struggles.
The Lord of the Harvest—The Farmer of Humankind is available on Amazon.
