Joshua Safeek is a successful businessman who is dedicated to building the economy of his home country, Guyana. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana and moved to the United States to earn his education. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee after graduating from high school and enrolled in a university to study industrial engineering. In 1988, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and then enrolled in a master’s program. In 1990, he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Safeek intended to enter the business industry after moving back to Guyana.

Joshua Safeek returned to his home country in 1997, and began working in business. He spent several years contributing to the local communities, and he worked hard to improve the economy in towns such as Parika. In 2000, he became the Chairman of Safeco Holdings Company, Inc. in Guyana, South America. Safeco Holdings Company is a holding company and investment firm. This company is involved in several different major industries in Guyana. Safeco Holdings invests in Caricom Insurance, Caricom Cement Company Inc., Fidelity Investment Merchant Bank Inc. (F.I.M.B), and Caricom Bottling Company, Inc. This company is also involved in property development and real estate.

These are all major industries in Guyana. Safeco Holdings Company, Inc. is a major contributor to Guyana’s economy. It provides jobs and it develops commerce in a variety of towns. Joshua Safeek has worked hard to develop and expand each of these companies. He uses his education in business and his dedication to Guyana to push for success. The same year he became the Chairman of Safeco Holdings Company, Inc., he also returned to school. He studied business administration at the California Coast University. He focused on international business and graduated in 2005 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration.

Safeek returned to Guyana in 1997. Since that year, he has worked hard to become a successful business man so that he could contribute to the growth of Guyana’s economy. Joshua Safeek is a hardworking and ambitious business man and entrepreneur. He has a great education and he puts that education to use in each of his business ventures.
